Fitness Challenge - November 9
LW's....how are we doing today. I woke up with the sniffles and headache. Tis the season. I have some errands today so I'm going to focus on that. I am not sure if you all remember me mentioning that I am trying to stick back with basics in food and protein and that by adjusting the intake of food from frequent small meals to 3 meals with fewer snacks...well the scale likes me again. 130.6. Nice...So, I shall keep up the routine as it is now and see where the scale moves to...hopefully 125 by the end of the year.
What are your fitness plans today?
Stay moving LW's we're seeing progress here...great job to all!!!

Diana, that is so awesome! You know, my surgeon insists on three meals with no snacks. I try to stick to that as much as I can. I don't eat between meals, but sometimes have a protein shake. I'm so happy it's working for you!
You're going to be in the 120's this week!!! How long has that been for you? I bet it's been a very long time. :)
Oh fitness... I almost forgot. I walked fast for 90 minutes. 45 to work, 30 at lunch and 15 home. Then I stopped in the gym and did weights for the first time since my accident in New Orleans. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
Good job everyone!

Soo wonderful, Diana! 130 (I ignore those decimals!) is such a faraway wonderland for most of us. Well, I'll speak for myself: for me! You deserve it, so congratulations!
Today Shelby and I sprinted. I decided that since I'd been working out so hard over the past few days, that I should be able to run faster. So we tested that, and it was true! Shelby loved it (she always has to slow her pace for me, anyway).
THEN, tonight I went to a colleague's house to cook food for our upcoming Habitat for Humanity fundraiser at the church. It's Thursday night, but we decided to do the prep work tonight. Anyway, he lives waaaay at the top of this enormous hill, and I RAN UP THE STAIRS to get there! I can't really explain how significant this is, except to say that it was enough for me to be almost completely winded - and you know how much I work out! Plus, I did it in 3.5 inch heels, which makes it all the much harder.
Anyway, those were my main workouts today.
I was just thinking about how, when I joined this challenge, I used to post my little walks around the neighborhood. Now look at me! I LOVE MY RNY. :)
